November 9 – Youth Connects! A one-day retreat for all 6th – 12th Grade from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Vail Ministry Center. This year’s music leaders are once again Swen & Dean and Pastor Bill Yonker! The theme is What Would Jesus Tweet? Social Media is present in everyday life! Sessions will include discussion on ‘posting like Jesus’, using words for positive expression, being safe on the internet, seeing symptoms of depression and anxiety related to social media pressures. We will have sessions for youth and adults to attend as well as a service project. Registration Fee August to Oct.1 is $75 for youth and $50 for leaders. After October 1 $90 for youth and $65 for leaders. Please register by September 30th! Online registration should be available soon or you can register through Linda Perry.
